The idea lived in my head for an embarrassingly long time before the look and technique finally agreed to show up. No reason, really. That's nearly a slogan.
Once it clicked, I turned it into a film poster — because naturally. The salmon roof is the detail that tips it into the uncanny: a little cheerful, a tad strange, and frankly a bit sus. Eerie but elegant. The kind of quiet thrill that makes you pause and squint, like a brisk, minty brain-tingle you didn't ask for and can't quite place.
The negative space does the rest. It drifts. It wanders. It asks what if? politely, then refuses to elaborate. I like it that way.
